Join us at Ivy Rose Farm for an herb walk and learn about local wild medicines! Local herbalist Rosemary Lovesmith will be guiding a gentle walk through the farm and forest to explore how to properly prepare, use and eat several common Appalachian herbs. Participants will be able to taste prepared medicines as well as get hands on experience with proper plant identification. At the end of our exploration, we will enjoy a light tea meal. Be sure to bring along a pen and notebook to take notes in addition to comfy walking shoes.
